Silas Ledford June 12, 2018

Silas Ledford was selected as an intern for the Southeast Region. He currently is pursuing a MS degree in Turfgrass and Statistics from Clemson University under the direction of Dr. L.B. McCarty. Silas received his undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia in Turfgrass and Agribusiness Management.

Silas started playing golf at an early age with his family and later, competitive golf sparked his interest in pursuing a career in the turfgrass industry. Silas previously worked at Athens Country Club (Athens, Georgia), Pine Valley Golf Club (Pine Valley, New Jersey), Ford Plantation (Savannah, Georgia) and Walker Course (Clemson, South Carolina).

Silas plans to complete his MS degree in December 2019 and pursue a career in the turfgrass industry.
