Recaps: 2017 Regional Qualifying

Between getting a good-luck message from Morgan Pressel and qualifying for the National Finals on the same day as your neighbor, it was quite a day for Chloe Kovelesky at TPC Sawgrass.

The eyes of the golf world were on Hazeltine National Golf Club in late September during the Ryder Cup. On Sept. 10, it was all about the 80 junior golfers trying to earn spots at Augusta National. 

Earning a spot in the Drive, Chip & Putt National Finals would create a lifetime memory for anyone. Now imagine qualifying with your brother, already a DCP national champion, at three-time U.S. Open host site Southern Hills.

From a family of non-golfers, mini-golf is how 11-year-old Howard Shu was first introduced to the game. He’s now headed to Augusta National to compete in the National Finals after a terrific performance at The Olympic Club.

Oakmont Country Club was on the world stage during the U.S. Open in June. Later in the summer, more memories were made there when four boys and four girls fulfilled their dream of making it to Augusta National.
