Fred Perpall

Fred Perpall, of Dallas, Texas, is in his sixth year on the USGA Executive Committee and second as president of the USGA.
Perpall is the chief executive officer of The Beck Group. He leads the international firm's design and construction businesses. A registered architect, Perpall is a member of the prestigious American Institute of Architects College of Fellows. Perpall serves on the board of FedEx and Starwood Property Trust.
He is a past Chairman of the Dallas Citizens Council. Perpall was a member of the Board of Trustees who helped build Trinity Forest Golf Club in Dallas – which hosted the AT&T Byron Nelson. The public/private partnership that led to the club's creation is as an inspiration to its community, serving as host to Southern Methodist University's golf program, countless charitable tournaments, and events as well as the Dallas chapter of The First Tee.
Perpall earned his bachelor's and master's degrees from the University of Texas at Arlington. He is a graduate of the Harvard Business School's Advanced Management Program.
In 2024, Perpall will serve as the president of the USGA and chairman of the Executive Committee, and will serve on the Compensation, Governance, and Nominating committees. He is ex-officio of the Championship committee.
